How do we book with VG Photography
Firstly, we need to check to see if we are available on your date. You can do this by sending us an email, or giving us a call and if you would like we can arrange a meeting to discuss your wedding requirements. We are more than happy to come to you, and there is no charge for this consultation. Should you wish to book with us for a £50.00 deposit which will secure your day.
Will we lose our deposit if we change our minds
No! Your deposit is refundable under any circumstances. Although we have never had to return a deposit, we suspect at some point this will be a probability, and we will be happy to return your deposit if that is your wish.
What are your rates?
Packages start at £550.00, but we deal with each wedding on an individual basis, and we are happy to customise options to meet your needs. You can access a full price list with all options and services on our website
Can we expect any additional costs?
Once we have agreed a cost for your wedding package, there will be no additinal charges, unless you wanted to upgrade an album, or order an additional album. we will attend on you wedding day from early preparation through to first dance and beyond.
Are there any travel costs?
Travel is included with all options where the wedding is held in Central and Southern Scotland. Outwith these areas, travel costs would be discussed, and agreed before the contract is finalised
Can we have our wedding photographs once they have been edited?
We will give you all edited images on a DVD, around three weeks after your wedding day. These images will not be watermarked and they will be high resolution images which will allow you to go to the high street for prints etc., if you so wish. There is a substantial difference in the quality of print from the high street, and one which we can get for you. We do however leave the choice entirely up to you.
Can friends and family view our photographs online?
Yes they can. We will give you a secure page on our website; the password known to ourselves and yourselves. We leave the distribution of this password entirely at your discretion, which will give you control of who can view your images.
How long does the album design take?
Once you have had the time and opportunity to view your images we will ask you to make a choice of images which you would like to appear in your album. Our design team will then produce a “prooof” of your album, which will allow you to make alterations if you wish, and only once you give us the go-ahead do we place the order with the printers. Depending upon how long it takes for you to choose the album images will be a significant factor in the timescale, but on average we like to aim for 6 to 8 weeks for the whole process. This allow for any alterations.
If the photographer takes ill will you still be able to cover my wedding?
We have a small team of very dedicated photographers, and we do make a point of always having a Plan B. So if illness, of equipment failure should come to the fore on your wedding day; then we do have the resources to carry on and you will never know there was a problem. We have been in business for a number of years, and we like to think that we have all eventualities covered.
